This was my first project in tapestry crochet. I have found the ability to create designs exciting but in using 2 yarns, my fingers get very tired in carrying yarn and keeping my tension tight.
For those interested, here is a link to the free pattern.
I really love the your tapestry crochet bag..you've inspired me to give it a try. Also I wanted to comment on the giving of tickets to persons who park in handicap spots....Shame on them ...if they are to dam lazy to walk a few extra feet they should get a ticket...I am handicap and although the spaces are usually closest to the store there are usually only a few so when someone parks illegally in one it really burns me. Wow $360.......it was $100 last I knew here in MA but I am sure it has gone up. Green Bay packers - well you know us Boston Fans....need I say anymore!!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteTo lazy to walk a few extra feet; you deserve to get a ticket ...that is what I have to say about people parking in a designated handicap spot.
Nice job on the bag! I've made several with the horses (donkeys?) pattern and know what you mean about tired hands... Your sweaters are awesome - I'd love to be able to make wearables for myself, but I tend to make them the wrong size (even after swatching) or get bored and move on to something else. Happy crocheting!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute bag with the kitties...wish I could crochet like that :-(
