I love those old-fashioned crochet dress dishcloths. My DM used to make them all the time. I've "hearted" you so I can get some when I can afford it; I crochet, but I know I will not even try to make those.

My main suggestion is to remove the featured category if you only have 1 page of products. It makes it easier to sort through. :)

ReplyDeleteFirst of all...love your crocheted goodness over at Etsy! You've got such bright colors and whimsical designs. :) Those knooking hooks really intrigue me...I can't imagine how you would use them for sock making??
I think you might think about adding some little white rounds for cotton pad replacements and maybe some fingerless mitts and scarves...especially as the summer progresses and we get into fall. ;) Just some ideas...Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI really like the content of your Etsy shop. I'm a huge fan of all things crochet - or I should say most things (lots can be done with crochet - some of it pretty strange).
I think your photos could benefit from a consistent background. White is the most common and will also give you a greater chance of being featured on the front page.
I think the photos that were taken in natural daylight add a lot more to the photos. Often photos taken indoors under artificial light (household lamps, ceiling lighting, etc) and flash lighting end up looking really flat and washed out. That in turn makes them item in the photo less vibrant and interesting to look at.
Honestly, I think that if you tweaked your photos just a little you would get more traffic and sales and could charge much more for your work!
